High temperature heat resistant ceramic glass specially manufactured to cope with temperatures in excess of 650 degrees.
Fitting: Ensure glass seal is in good condition or replaced http://www.greymetal.co.uk/wood-burning-stove-installation-accessories/12mm-glass-tape.html before inserting replacement glass on your stove. Gently finger tighten the screws and washers that hold the glass in place - overtightening can cause the glass to crack.
